ABOUT TPE (Thermal Plastic Elastomer)
Thermal Plastic Elastomer (TPE) is the material with both
thermoplastic and elastomeric properties. The crosslink in
thermal plastic elastomer polymers is a weaker dipole or hydrogen bond
or takes place in one of the phases of the material (no need
vulcanization process).
TPE shows both advantage of rubbery materials & plastic materials:
•Possessing the features of vulcanized rubber at room temperature –
Can be stretched repeatedly and return to original length when stress
is released.
•Possessing the features of thermoplastic at high temperature –
Can be easily processed with the injection molding, extrusion, hot-
pressing and other processes.
Besides of TPE material possesses the features of high elasticity and resilience at normal/low temperature also features excellent anti-slippage and soft touch with human skin.
We specialize in manufacturing TPE foam and provide to the industry with TPE pellets that are capable of being foamed. In addition, we assist in technical guiding and turnkey projects.
